Contestant Participation Terms & Conditions
Organised by AFB Global Holding Pte Ltd ("Organiser")
By submitting a registration and participating in the AFB Global Voice Competition 2026 ("Competition"), each participant agrees to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 The Competition is open to individuals residing in Singapore, including Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and valid pass holders.
1.2 Participants must be 15 years old and above as of the registration date.
1.3 Participants below 18 years old must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian.
1.4 The Organiser reserves the right to verify the identity, age, residency status, and eligibility of any participant at any time.
1.5 Employees, judges, sponsors, contractors, partners, and immediate family members directly involved in the Competition may be excluded at the Organiser's sole discretion.
2. REGISTRATION
2.1 Completion of the registration form and payment of the registration fee does not guarantee advancement to any subsequent round.
2.2 All registration fees paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including withdrawal, disqualification, illness, scheduling conflicts, personal reasons, inability to attend, or cancellation by the participant.
2.3 The Organiser reserves the right to reject any registration or application without assigning any reason.
2.4 Participants are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate and complete.
3. COMPETITION FORMAT
3.1 The Organiser reserves the right to amend, postpone, reschedule, cancel, combine, add, remove, or modify any competition round, judging criteria, venue, programme format, date, or schedule without prior notice.
3.2 The Organiser reserves the right to introduce rehearsals, vocal coaching sessions, media interviews, performances, promotional activities, or additional assessments as part of the Competition.
3.3 The judges' decisions and the Organiser's decisions on all matters relating to the Competition shall be final and binding.
3.4 No appeals, correspondence, disputes, or challenges regarding judging results or competition decisions shall be entertained.
4. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
4.1 Participants shall conduct themselves professionally, respectfully, and responsibly throughout the Competition.
4.2 Participants shall not engage in any conduct that may damage the reputation, image, goodwill, business interests, sponsors, partners, judges, staff, exhibitors, or affiliated events of the Organiser.
4.3 Participants may be immediately disqualified for misconduct, harassment, abusive behaviour, submission of false information, breach of these Terms & Conditions, or any conduct deemed detrimental to the Competition.
5. MEDIA RELEASE & PUBLICITY RIGHTS
Participants grant the Organiser the perpetual right to photograph, film, record, publish and use their name, image, voice, biography and performances for publicity, advertising, promotional, commercial and marketing purposes without further compensation.
6. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Participants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal data for Competition administration, publicity, sponsorship, media activities and related purposes.
7. PRIZES & AWARDS
7.1 Prize values advertised are subject to change without prior notice.
7.2 The Organiser reserves the right to amend, substitute, postpone, withdraw or replace any prize or award.
7.3 Cash prizes will be paid according to the Organiser's prize distribution schedule.
7.4 All prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable unless otherwise determined by the Organiser.
8. WINNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES
8.1 Winners may be invited to perform at concerts, exhibitions, roadshows, media interviews, promotional campaigns, community events and official functions organised by the Organiser.
8.2 Such invitations are voluntary unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8.3 Winners are expected to uphold the reputation and image of the Competition.
9. NON-DISPARAGEMENT & SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
Participants shall not publish or communicate any defamatory, offensive or misleading statements or content that may damage the reputation of the Organiser, Competition, judges, sponsors or partners. Any breach may result in disqualification or forfeiture of prizes.
10. TITLE REVOCATION
The Organiser reserves the absolute right to revoke, suspend or withdraw any competition title, trophy, certificate, award or recognition granted to any participant or winner for misconduct, breach of these Terms & Conditions or any conduct deemed detrimental to the Competition.
11. USE OF TITLES & AWARDS
Participants and winners shall not use the Competition title, logo or branding for commercial, political, fundraising or endorsement purposes without prior written approval from the Organiser.
12. HEALTH & SAFETY
Participation is entirely at the participant's own risk. The Organiser shall not be liable for any injury, illness, accident, loss or damage arising from participation in the Competition.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser, judges, sponsors, venue owners and partners shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from participation in the Competition.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
The Organiser reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel the Competition due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, venue restrictions or other unforeseen events.
15. ORGANISER'S RIGHTS
The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to interpret, amend and enforce these Terms & Conditions. All decisions made by the Organiser shall be final and binding.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
DECLARATION
By registering for and participating in the AFB Global Voice Competition 2026, I acknowledge that I have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including the Media Release, Personal Data Protection, Title Revocation and Liability clauses.
